Bush Fire Prone Areas (OBRM-001)

The Bush Fire Prone Areas (OBRM-001) dataset identifies current bush fire prone areas of Western Australia.

This dataset is a copy of the most current bush fire prone area dataset which is currently the Bush Fire Prone Areas 2025 (OBRM-024).

Bush Fire Prone Areas (OBRM-001) will be updated with the most current dataset each time a review of bush fire prone areas is conducted. This layer is ideal for linking with mapping systems, as it will represent the most up-to-date Bushfire Prone Areas.

Bush fire prone areas are subject to, or likely to be subject to, bush fire attack. A bush fire prone area is identified by the presence of and proximity to bush fire prone vegetation and includes both the area containing the bush fire prone vegetation and a 100 metre buffer zone immediately surrounding it.
