Derwent Estuary Current Meter (Mooring) Data 1993-4

This dataset comprises the current meter data collected from 2 localities in the Derwent Estuary, Tasmania (Blinking Billy Point and Tranmere) during October 1993-January 1994. The data contribute to the physical component of the Derwent Estuary study, carried out as part of the CSIRO Coastal Zone Program. There with 2 moorings and 4 current meters represented in this dataset. Parameters typically recorded in current meter data comprise east-west and north-south velocity components, water temperature, pressure, and salinity at a nominal depth for each current meter. The data have been processed and are archived as part of the holdings of the CMR Data Centre in Hobart.
