South Albury Levee Update - Murray River Flood Study Reports

This document details the flood modelling and mapping of the Murray River at Albury. The study was commissioned by the Albury City Council to inform the design of the South Albury levee upgrade.

This report supersedes previous flood studies for the Murray River at Albury and provides a revised flood frequency analysis of design flows, including calibration and sensitivity testing of the hydraulic model. The modelling shows that the proposed levee upgrades lead to improved flood protection in South Albury for events up to and including the 1% AEP (Annual Exceedance Probability) event. The flood mapping produced is intended to replace existing Murray River flood mapping and is considered fit for purpose to inform the levee's design.
