This data set contains the locations of offshore petroleum wells, drilled for exploration and/or production purposes. Data was sourced from the Australia’s National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator and Australian States archives. Data for all wells generated pre-2011 wells was sourced from states online archives. Data is made publically available by the NESP Marine Biodiversity Hub
