Mitchell Shire Council

Mitchell Shire is in central Victoria and covers an area of 2860 sq km. The shire has a population of approximately 44,000 people with the main towns of Wallan, Kilmore, Wandong, Broadford and Seymour. There are shire offices at Broadford and Wallan.There is a broad range of urban and rural industries and a variety of recreation opportunities.
